Prime Softball was officially founded in the Fall of 2023, but the makings of the organization go back to 2021 and the first two years as Sticks Softball. The organization began as a 14U team in the spring of 2021 and has been Arkansas’ fastest growing organization since. Today, Prime consists of 15+ teams and features over 150 players from five different states. 

 

At the youth level, Prime teams compete locally and regionally. We are all about fun, believing players have to enjoy playing the game or they will burn out somewhere along the line. We are about development, believing in practicing fundamental skills and playing quality competition. Our youth teams are the backbone of our organization, serving as a direct pipeline to our high school program beginning at 16U. 

 

At the high school level, we have teams that compete locally, regionally and nationally. Our national teams are sponsored by Decker Sports and play a highly competitive schedule across the country. Our organization has options for every level of player that aspires to play in college. In the summer, high school teams play a 6-event schedule. In the fall, they compete in the Prime Softball Fall League on college campuses and then rejoin their traditional showcase teams for a 2-4 event schedule spanning the months of October and November. 

 

Prime Softball has players from every corner of the state of Arkansas as well as neighboring states like Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.
